Update: I've added a different version of the Flossy card below. Please tell me what you think! Thank you so much to everyone who has given me constructive feedback so far. I appreciate your help so much!
Hello dear friends! Yesterday was very productive for me. I put the final touches on three new card images. I'd love to get your feedback on them. If you were going to buy a birthday card for a friend, which of these three would you be most likely to buy? And is there any one that you wouldn't buy? I'd really appreciate your thoughts before I send these off to the printer!
All three cards say "Happy birthday!" inside, and the printed cards won't have my copyright notice on them. You might have to enlarge the photos to card size to see the details:

"Flossy Bakes a Birthday Cake" |

"Flossy and Sophie Have a Birthday Bash" |

"Sophie Has the Best Birthday Ever" |

Flossy Bakes a Birthday Cake (Version 2) |
Thank you very much for your feedback. Much of the food was made by Beverly at
CuteinMiniature on Etsy. She made all of the cakes, frosting, cupcakes, confetti, candles, and candle box, EXCEPT for the cake, cookies and macarons in the last photograph. Yay, Beverly! Until next time, keep it fun! xoxo Jennifer
The three cards are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI really like the card with Sophie.
Kisses.
Hello Jennifer,
ReplyDeleteAll 3 are just loevly, but I must say the second and third feel more like a party!
Big hug,
Giac
I like the 2nd one best, no particular issue with the other two, I just like the idea of togetherness for a birthday :)
ReplyDeleteI can't decide. All three are cute.
ReplyDeleteNice weekend
Ulrike
My favourite is the third one, then the second one then the first one. However I genuinely love them all! If I were to buy just one though it would be the third one. They are all beautiful though!!!
ReplyDeleteAll your 3 pictures are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite picture is No. 2, where both Flossy and Sophie are together. I really like both of them together, it gives so much life to the picture. The entire table with the cakes are so cozy and this that you can see the background, slightly makes the whole image look very harmonious.
My next favorite is picture nr. 3 of Sophie. It is also beautiful with the table in front and a the visible background. Beautiful light in the whole picture.
Beautiful birthday card.
Hugs
Wyrna
All three cards are adorable, but the third one, with Sophie, is my very favourite (big surprise, given my love for little bears :) )
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend!

Jennifer they are all wonderful I love them. My favourite is the middle one but they are all beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHugs Maria
Hi..Love All of them, but:
ReplyDeleteI`d take the third one first, then the second one and then the first.
Hugs
Kikka
All three cards are adorable, but I would buy the 2nd one because the focus is on the two cuties and there's less background. That's just my personal preference...
ReplyDeleteI love all three, but if I had to buy only one I't take the second one, with both Sophie and Flossy. There is something about them and the festive table that appeals to me.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Drora
I like number 2 and 3, they have somehow more intensive feeling than number one. As if Flossy and Sophie are looking at me, straight in to my eyes wishing the best birthday ever! Hugs Sanne
ReplyDeleteI love all three, but if I really had to choose.....number 2 :D!
ReplyDeletehugs, Ilona
Mely
WHOA!!! This is amazing!!! I absolutely LOVE what you've done here and the work is simply magnificent!!! But like everyone else, I struggle with which card is best since they're all so wonderful! However, I concur with the general consensus, which is to say that #2 is best for your birthday cards. It's colorful, festive and focuses on the special closeness of celebrating birthdays with loved ones.
ReplyDeleteP.S.-Thank you for featuring my work, both here and on your lovely birthday cards! A much appreciated honor!
They all are sweet! But somehow my favourite is the last one.:) Maybe it's about contrast in colours.;)
ReplyDeleteHugs
All'inizio avrei scelto subito la terza scena ma ripensandoci nella seconda c'è la presenza di qualcuno vicino che partecipa ai festeggiamenti e questo è molto bello! Ciao Manu
ReplyDeleteBefore reading all comments above ( i will..because it is really interesting!!) i would go for the last one, Nr.3, directly! I think it is the sweetest and has caught a happy cute birthdaywishing! the other two are beautiful, too....it would be difficult to choose actually!! Many greetings, Anne
ReplyDeleteHello Jennifer, l love all three of them, but perhaps number three the very best. The placement of the chairs in the background and sofie in front with details...just gives me an ekstra birthday feel. Pam xx
ReplyDeleteMost likely the middle-friends means more than one person. Least likely the last-looks like a boy a little. I actually love them all x
ReplyDeleteFirst of all: All three motifs are cute and lovely, you've done a great job arranging these scenes. But to my modest opinion the first one doesn't fit that well to the topic - it doesn't say "Happy Birthday" to me. This would be perfect for an invitation card saying I bake the cake and you bring yourself to the party. But the other two really say "Happy Birthday" to me. I prefer the second one because it concentrates on the message, the third one has too much "stuff" in the background that doesn't count for what you're buying the card for. No. 2 brings it directly to the point, but if you don't kill me suggesting this - add the candle cake from picture 3 and picture 2 will shout "A very Happy Birthday" to everyone! ;O)

Hi Jennifer! I like the second one best because it expresses togetherness and fellowship! I like to see Flossie and Sophie together.
ReplyDeleteI like the card with Sophie and Flossie, two best friends!
ReplyDeleteGreetings, Faby
I like all the cards, but my favourites for a birthday are the ones with the candle on the cake, like in your next post. To send to a friend I would like the one with Flossy and Sophie. They are all very cute.
ReplyDeleteGeneviève
Hi Jennifer! All of your pictures brighten the day :D
ReplyDeleteFor a Birthday card I would also choose the second and third one. I also like the second version of Flossy bakes a Birthday cake, but this one actually looks to me a perfect Birthday-invitation-card? And I really like the blue background on the second and third pic as it makes a nice contrast. Your pictures look so sunny - do you have sunshine over there????
Have a happy weekend!
Sandra
Mi preferiada es la segunda. Estan las dos guapísimas.
ReplyDeleteAinsss Jennifer, no sabría cuál elegir, me gustan todas, lamento no poder ayudarte.
ReplyDeleteMillones de besos amiga mía.
Sigo a la espera.
Mil besos...JUlia.
Hello Everyone! Thank you so much for your very valuable feedback. I feel so grateful that there are so many lovely people out there who would take the time to give their input. I am very blessed indeed. :-) xo Jennifer
ReplyDeleteHello Jennifer, late to reply but here is my input if you would like to read it : I prefer the 3rd photo because it is well balanced : you can see the eye-popping polka dot canisters on the right and the blue chairs on the left, Sophie is perfectly centered with a slice of cake, and maybe the chocolate cake was my bias :P
ReplyDeleteHi Jennifer! You do such lovely work with the cards it is very difficult to pick any one as they are all adorable!
ReplyDeleteelizabeth
those are so cute :) I love everything about them
ReplyDeleteMarisa
Dificil elección!!! Son todas muy hermosas!!!
ReplyDeleteBesitooos.
I love all of them but the one with Sophie titled "Sophie has the best birthday ever" is my favorite- it's just sooo cute!
ReplyDeleteThey are so bright and happy. LOVE them!!
ReplyDeletehugs♥,
Caroline
Dear Jennifer, forgive the delay: I have the flu (again!!) And I can hardly stand in front of the computer and write ... But I could not resist to let you know that I love your birthday cards and I would buy the second and third, while the revised version of the one with Flossy, I like less than the original (the subject appears too flat in frontal view).
ReplyDeleteYou do not know what these pictures are of inspiration and joy for me, in this moment of mental and physical suffering.
Therefore, thanks :-)
Lovely hugs,
Flora
