Hello everyone! It's the first day of snow for us here in Portland, Oregon. We haven't seen snow for many months. Brrr! It's very cold here! Coincidentally, I received a darling giveaway prize from Jane of Jane Cherie blog:
It's a mini Lalaloopsy doll named Holly Sleighbells. Just looking at her makes me smile. She comes with the darling accessories you see, including the popsicle, sled, reindeer, and red bag of toys. Oops! She dropped her popsicle! ;-)
I just love following Jane Cherie's blog. She speaks from the heart, and she shows us the things that are happening in her life, which are also interesting. I've learned so much about dollhouses, Sylvanian Families, Lalaloopsy dolls, vintage children's books, and so much more! I highly recommend Jane's blog. Thank you again, Jane. I love my prize!
Speaking of Sylvanian Families, someone new has moved into the 1960 tin dollhouse I received from my father last Christmas:
Mama cat has just baked some yummy bread and is pulling it out of the oven for a tasty breakfast treat. It will be perfect on such a cold winter day! There's so much going on with the tin dollhouse that I'll have to show you more later. :-)
Oh, don't forget! I have a giveaway going on with three prizes, all amazing mini desserts made by Kim Saulter. Leave a comment on the giveaway post to enter!
Thank you all for your ongoing support of this blog. I appreciate your comments so much! Until next time, keep it fun! xoxo Jennifer
Darling toys. Enjoy these treasures. Love your new resident at the tin house.

ReplyDeleteit's not snowing here just a little sleet but it's very slippery ..considering my track record I think I'll just stay inside today and I hope Mama cat has many happy years in the tin dollhouse.

Snow, already, you are welcome to keep it with you Jennifer. I would love to get through the winter, without snow. It all gets so complicated.
ReplyDeleteFine gifts you have received, lucky you. It's also lovely pictures you've made. .

I see Holly has brought the snow with her to your city! Next time, let's hope you win a sunshiny miniature :) You did so well with the photo, capturing the essence of that doll and winter season! Thank you so much for speaking of me and my blog with such sweet words. Big hugs ♥

Holly Sleighbells is just adorable - she really does make you smile. I will have to check out Jane's blog.
ReplyDeleteWonderful gifts, Jennifer, enjoy! It snowed at your place, oh how lovely! Here in The Netherlands there has been a big storm with an extraordinary flood! I am glad it is quiet now outside. Today it snowed a bit, but it thawed rapidly.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Ilona
No snow here yet in fact it is very mild for December. Congratulations on the wonderful prize she is very sweet. Mama cat is so cute I am sure she will love her new home.

Hi Jennifer! We've been very lucky in my little corner of England, no snow and hardly any frosts...yet! Holly Sleighbells is a really cute doll, I love her bright colors, just right for Christmas!
ReplyDeleteOooh, Sylvanian Families, I think my sister has virtually every character ever made, she adores them! They are achingly cute though!
Kind regards, Brian.
I love your LalaLoopsy! She's really cute!! Mama Cat looks right at home in that kitchen. Tin dollhouses are so nostalgic. I still remember mine. We got our first ice! I'm stuck at home for the next couple of days. It's suppose to be 13 degrees tonight. I feel like I live in Oregon not Texas. Enjoy your snow!
ReplyDeletehugs♥,
Caroline
Congrats on your fabulous win - seeing this doll really makes the spectator smile. And what a lovely new inhabitant for the tin house, Mama Cat looks like she's at home already. And how funny - we had the first snow today, too. But due to the heavy storm (the rest of the hurricane we had yesterday, it was horrible, with a heavy storm flood) this was even more frustrating than snow would normally be... I don't know if I ever mentioned this but I hate shoveling snow... *grin*

ReplyDeleteHi Jennifer! How nice that you have snow! Or is it? :) Today we are living in the snow white world with only some degrees below.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your adorable give away prize. Enjoy!
I think that our Neko is somehow related to your Mama Cat. They have same color and stripes. :)
Hugs, piikko
Hi Jennifer, what a lovely new resident you have received. She spreads joy just by looking at her. I think she wil fit right in. Mama Cat looks very at home in the kitchen and it must smell lovely of freshly baked bread. :-) . Just like Ilona and Birgit, I survived the storm but it was not fun driving in it! A few snowflakes graced us with a visit but I think they changed their mind because they disappeared rather quickly.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Véronique
