I showed you Cupcake Cottage's new bunny character in my last post. Thank you to everyone who left a lovely comment for me. I so appreciated your sweet words and great suggestions for a name for the bunny. Now it is time to introduce the new bear character living in the cottage:
I needle-felted her too, and hand-stitched the skirt, just like the bunny. The bear has been busy baking chocolate chip cookies today:
Mmm, they look and smell so yummy, straight from the oven. And our bunny friend is waiting in anticipation. When can she try one?
OK, now you see them both together. Any ideas for the bear's name? From your suggestions on the last post, my two top favorite names are Flossy and Sophie. Flossy comes from the name "Fairy Floss," whose equivalent is "candy floss," or "cotton candy" in the U.S. and Canada. The bunny is very fluffy like cotton candy, so this name "Flossy" is really sweet and apt.
What if the bunny was named Flossy and the bear was named Sophie? These are my favorites so far, unless I hear something I like better from one of you lovely readers. Don't be shy! Tell me what the best names would be, if you have an idea. Thank you in advance. I appreciate your comments and name suggestions so much. Next blog post, it will be time for some Halloween fun! xoxo Jennifer
As you know I am not good with giving names but the two you like suit them both.:) The bear is sooo sweeet!!!!Gret work Jennifer!

Very sweet! Both of them :)
ReplyDeleteMany cute scenes that turn into beautiful images. Many words are better and sweeter in English than in my own language. The word cute, bent in different ways gives a good taste in your mouth. I think you have found 2 good names.

ReplyDeleteJennifer, I love teddy bears, and your little one is adorable!♥
ReplyDeleteThe bunny and bear are looking so cute with their cookings.
And for the names...cotton candy is sugar. I think that your bunny is white as a sugar, so my suggestion for the names are Sugar and Sophie. :-) Hugs!

I love your cute bear! I definitely think you should call the bunny Flossy and the bear Sophie, I think those names fit them very well. They both make me want to go do some needle felting!
ReplyDelete-Baby Cat
Your bunny and bear are adorable! Flossy and Sophie are both cute names. I might also suggest Honey for the bear, then they would both have "sweets" in their names, since they live in Cupcake Cottage.
ReplyDeleteJennifer, the little bear is a sweetheart. I have always adored the name Sophie. You are so very creative, Jennifer! Those two latest creations of yours could not be more perfect. A real eye treat!
ReplyDeleteHi Jennifer, your little bear is sooo cute, your very talented in needle felting !!

Whether they are called Flossy and Sophie (which would be nice, of course) or not - they're such a cute couple and match perfect. Looks like the beary loves baking and the bunny loves eating... ;O) Seems needlefelting is quite addictive!

Another adorable scene! I love this and your needle-felted characters are so cute!
ReplyDeleteP.S.-Sophie is a great fit for the bear! As I look at her, I definitely see a "Sophie."
Si el conejo era guapísimo la osita es tan guapa como él. En cuanto al nombre no se que decirte.

ReplyDeleteVery cute bear! I would call her Honey. But I do like Flossy and Sophie! Names are hard because I think they should suit the personality of each doll. You should go with your gut feeling and maybe the first name that pops into your head! They really are adorable. You are very prolific!
ReplyDeleteHi Jennifer, your new character is cute, too. The names are perfect.
