Housewarming Gifts Plus Giveaway Winners

Flossy and Sophie were thrilled when they received a surprise package from Catherine at Sweet Petite Shoppe. The bunnies and mice in her bakery made some gorgeous housewarming gifts in celebration of Sophie moving into Brambleberry Farmhouse. Just look at what those sweet critters sent:

There's a gorgeous cake, a darling box of heart-shaped cookies, and a beautiful baking board. Those sweet pink plates came in the package too! Thank you so much, Catherine, the mice, and the bunnies! You are such sweet friends. Please come for a visit to Portland soon. There'll be plenty of hot chocolate and cupcakes for everyone!

After Sophie and Flossy filled themselves with yummy cake and cookies, it was time for a chat in Sophie's new livingroom. AND it was time to draw the two winners of Plushpussycat's Valentine's Day Giveaway! YAY!!!

Flossy held the basket of names and mixed them all up. Then Sophie picked the two winners' names, one at a time. (Actually, I used random.org to pick the numbers.)

Tickled Pink!

Flossy and Sophie are both tickled pink! They've received some amazing gifts from two of the loveliest people ever. First, look what Carmen of mi pequena evasion blog sent:

Cupcake Cottage now has a whole new set of gorgeous shabby chic dishes, a beautiful tin biscuit box, a darling shabby spider plant growing in a tin can, and so much more. Carmen gave prizes to her top five blog commenters recently. Her prizes were so thoughtful and perfect for Cupcake Cottage. Thank you sooooooo much, Carmen! I love everything you sent. It is a pleasure to leave comments on your fun blog.

Next, look what happened when I made purchases from Magda at 1717mk on Etsy. First, I bought this sweet red tea kettle, and look at how it arrived from Poland, wrapped up like a tiny masterpiece:

Then I saw Magda's new line of needle-felted miniature furniture, and I just had to have a small hand-painted pink stool that she made. This is how the stool arrived:

Can you believe it?! She made me this gorgeous diorama with the stool, and she even included one of her darling signature miniature teddy bears! Notice the curtained window behind the bear. Wow!!!!! Her little bear is settling in in Cupcake Cottage's bedroom now:

Sweet Miniature Finds on Etsy

Teddy the frog has his eyes on that balloon!

Here are some recent purchases on Etsy. The first came from Eva Perendreu, whose lovely blog you may know. It's a birthday party chair from her shop, Evamini. Isn't Eva creative? I love that balloon and those tiny cookies! Oh, and she is so wonderful to work with--what a sweet person. I would love to buy from her again. Check out Evamini when you have a chance!

Next, I bought some darling miniature heart-shaped sugar cookies from Catherine at Sweet Petite Shoppe. And see, she sent me some free cupcakes too! Thanks again, Catherine!

Michi at cherrydot has really cute, whimsical dollhouse miniatures and mini food jewelry. I bought a couple of things from her, perfect for shabby chic Cupcake Cottage. I love her mini cupcakes complete with paper wrappers and those cake stands too! She sends lots of fun freebies when you buy from her--woohoo!

Finally, Judy at beadocious makes lovely things, including very realistic-looking homemade-style miniature frosted cakes. Yummy--doesn't this look tasty? Even better: there's a 20% off sale in her shop right now!
